Orbis was built to do one thing well. The senior end of the AI talent market is small, mostly passive, and reputation-driven. Template outreach burns relationships. Volume tactics are a liability. The buyer cannot afford a bad introduction.
Three things shape how we work.
Research-led sourcing. We read the papers, understand the work, and approach researchers in language they recognise. No templates.
Discretion as default. Most senior searches in this market are unannounced. Confidentiality protects the candidate, the client, and the search itself.
Long horizons. The intent is to be trusted with the most important hire a lab will make this year, not to fill a requisition.
